His knowledge of equipment, facilities and trade practices learned in State Parks has eased the way for his second career with the Kassel McVey Law Firm.  He works closely with the attorneys on product liability, personal injury, premises liability and construction cases.

He takes photographs, videos of accident scenes, vehicles, and people.  He conducts video interviews of clients and witnesses and edits them for mediation and court presentations.  He provides the attorneys with the information they need to thoroughly analyze the merits of a case and implement the best legal strategy.

Jim has worked for the firm for 9 years and has grown with the job by learning new skills to include bookkeeping, video editing, courthouse filings, discussions about cases with the attorneys,  He also maintains the office building by inspecting the facility and when needed, writing specifications and hiring contractors to keep it in excellent condition for the firm and its clients.

He works with other staff members when help is needed to keep the firm running smoothly and productively.
